At VACDRA, operated by Active Dee Services, your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you visit or make a purchase from our store.

1. Information We Collect

  • When you order: name, email address, phone number (if you give it), shipping and billing address, order details and payment status. We do not see or store your full card or bank details; the payment provider handles those.
  • When you subscribe to our newsletter: your email address and the date you signed up.
  • When you contact us: your name, email and what you tell us in your message.
  • When you leave a review (Judge.me): your name, email address, review text and any photos you add.
  • When you visit our website: technical data such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and the website you came from.

2. Why We Use Your Data, and Our Legal Basis

3. Who We Share Data With

We only share data with companies that help us run the shop. They may only use it for that purpose.

  • Shopify (our online store and checkout platform).
  • Payment providers (iDEAL, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Klarna and credit cards, depending on the method you choose at checkout).
  • Delivery couriers (to deliver your parcel).
  • Email service: Shopify Email, to send our newsletter and order-related messages.
  • Judge.me (to collect and show product reviews).
  • Advertising platforms, only if you agree to marketing cookies: Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. Transfers Outside the EU

Some of these companies (for example Shopify, Meta, TikTok and Judge.me) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, they rely on safeguards required by EU law, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

5. How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Order and invoice data: up to 7 years, as the Dutch tax rules require.
  • Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe, then we keep a minimal record that you opted out so we do not email you again.
  • Support messages: up to 2 years after our last contact.
  • Reviews: until you ask us to remove them.
  • Cookie data: as shown in the cookie banner.

6. Cookies and Tracking

Cookies are small files stored on your device.

  • Necessary cookies keep the shop working: your cart, checkout, security and your cookie choices. These do not need consent.
  • Marketing cookies and pixels (Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel) tell us if our ads lead to visits and orders and help show our ads to relevant people. They are switched on only if you accept marketing cookies in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link on our website, or through your browser settings.

When the pixels are on, Meta and TikTok receive information about what you do on our site (for example viewing a product, adding to the cart, or buying) and may be joint controllers with us for that data.

7. Newsletter and Marketing Emails

We send marketing emails only if you subscribed and gave consent. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of any email, or by emailing support@vacdra.com. Signing up for our welcome discount does not require you to buy anything. Order and delivery messages are not marketing and are sent as part of your order.

8. Your Rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • see the data we hold about you;
  • have wrong data corrected;
  • have your data deleted (when we are not legally required to keep it);
  • limit or object to how we use your data;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect earlier use);
  • complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

To use your rights, email support@vacdra.com. We reply within one month.

9. Security

We protect your data with reasonable technical and organisational measures. Our checkout runs on Shopify and uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.

10. Children

Our website is not meant for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
